Online booking for Covid-19 Testing. Vaccination and Revisit only (provided by Primary Care Veterinarians)
We only accept appointment for Covid-19 Test, vaccination and revisit consultation via this online booking system. For other bookings, please call us on 3650 3000. If the appointment is not made under the above categories, it will be cancelled without prior notice.
Online bookings are not available for Specialty Consultation, Referral or Second Opinion
Appointment for Specialty consultation, Referral or Second Opinion are not applicable through this online booking system. If your appointment falls into these categories, please cancel the booking immediately and call 3650 3000 for assistance by our customer service officer.
We hold the right to cancel these bookings without prior notice.
Not for emergencies
This online booking system is not for any emergency cases. If you require emergency service, please contact us on 3650 3200.
Vaccination
If this is your first booking in CityU VMC for vaccinations,you MUST bring along your pets vaccination record on the appointment day.
If you need to book vaccination of rabies for your pet, owner must bring along a dog license issued by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) on the appointment day. We will ask the registered owner of the dog to attend in person. During registration, registered owner is required to sign on a personal information collection statement provided by the AFCD. If the registered owner of the dog cannot attend in person, please notify us as soon as possible. CityU VMC will email the statement to the registered owner in advance. Registered owner must sign and submit to CityU VMC afterwards.
Covid-19 Testing
The Covid-19 test will cost HK$450. Booking is available from Monday to Saturday. The result will take a week. This is a contactless consultation for sample collection. Owners will not meet our Veterinarian. No consultation fee will be charged. Our nurse will collect the pet from the owner and our Veterinarian will collect sample by deep throat swab. If a positive Covid-19 report is received, the case will be referred to the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), AFCD will arrange a follow up on the case with owner.
If your pet is unwell and a further medical examination is required, a consultation fee will be applied.
Consultation fee
We will charge the Covid Biosecurity fee of HKD100 to every single visit. Consultation fees and consultation time may vary according to the qualifications of different veterinarians. For detail, please contact Customer Services on 3650 3000.
Appointment timeslots available
Our out-patient service hour is 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, and 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. We accept appointments in the next 14 days, however, same-day appointment is not accepted. In addition, CityU VMC also provide 24 hours emergency services throughout the year.
Data integrity
If the appointment information is incorrect or insufficient, the appointment may be automatically deleted from the system without further notice.
Email Reminder
When an appointment is made, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided immediately. And an email reminder will be sent by you 48 hours before the appointment.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please make changes or cancellations at least 24 hours before the appointment time.
No Show fee
If you are absent or without notifying us to cancel your appointment within 24 hours, the center has the right to charge you a handling fee of HK$50.
Weather event suspension
When Typhoon Signal 8 or above or black rainstorm is hoisted, CityU VMC provide emergency services only. All outpatient appointments will be cancelled without further notice. Should you have any question on the typhoon arrangement, please call us on 3650 3000.
