Dr. Stephanie N. C. KAM

Primary Care Veterinarian

BVSc(Hons), MANZCVS (S.A.Surgery)

Dr. Stephanie Kam graduated from the University of Queensland with a first-class honours degree in Veterinary Science. Dr. Stephanie started practicing small animal medicine after returning to Hong Kong in 2003. Since veterinary patients cannot express their physical ailment verbally, as a vet and a loving pet owner herself, she understands the vital importance of diagnostic accuracy, treatment adequacy as well as ongoing professional development for vets. During the first few years of her practice, she further equipped herself with Postgraduate Certificates in Ophthalmology and Small Animal Surgery.

Stephanie joined CityU VMC in 2006, where she gained hands-on experience in both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and, with the state-of-the-art facilities available to her at CityU VMC, she developed a strong interest in ultrasonography. In 2008, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Sonology, making her one of the few certified sonographers in the clinic. In 2011, she obtained a membership by examination to the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Surgery. She is committed to life-long learning and she will continue her professional development to provide quality-assured healthcare for her patients.

Stephanie has been enjoying the company of her two cats, both of them strays, for a little over a decade. With her professional knowledge and her loving care, she will make sure her two feline friends are ageing happily, healthily and gracefully.
