Dr. Maxime BOULAY

Emergency Veterinarian

Dr Maxime Boulay grew up on the sunny beaches of Australia, graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2011, achieving honours. He has done further studies in emergency and critical care, having been awarded Memberships from the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in ECC in 2021.

Initially starting his career within a wildlife hospital, he became a small animal and hobby farm general practitioner on the Central Coast. However, the travel bug got the best of him, leading to several years of locum work throughout the United Kingdom, working in various clinical settings, including rural and city hospitals, charity organizations, and emergency care facilities. Before arriving in Hong Kong, his last location was Singapore, where he refined his emergency and critical care skills working in a sizeable multi-specialist referral hospital.

Dr. BOULAY is also deeply committed to global animal welfare. He has volunteered his skills and knowledge in numerous international locations, including Bahrain, Thailand, Indonesia, Malawi, Mexico, and more. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking, surfing, and rock climbing when he’s not working. He also loves savouring local cuisines.
