Dr. Marie Laure THERON graduated from the National Veterinary School of Toulouse in France. After 5 years in Toulouse, she undertook a rotating internship at the National Veterinary School of Nantes in France. Following her internship, she returned to Toulouse to join the internal medicine team as an assistant for one year and obtained a residency position in the same structure.

After completing her residency in internal medicine, she moved to a private referral practice close to Paris. She was recognized as a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine 2018. Then, she moved to Biarritz and practiced as an internal medicine specialist for 5 years.

Dr. THERON is significantly involved in the continuous formation of veterinarians and has authored and co-authored numerous scientific papers in reference journals, given lectures and presented posters at the European Congress. These activities require being updated with the latest news to provide the best care for our pets.

She has a particular interest in endoscopy, especially in mini-invasive procedures. She is also interested in endocrinology and haematology. She believes that the most important and interesting thing in her job is sharing and teamwork because we are always stronger together than alone.

Her hobbies include mountaineering, climbing and literature. She is also a cheese and wine lover!
