Dr. Joshua graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Santo Tomas in 2000 and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from De La Salle Araneta University in 2008, both in the Philippines.

He successfully passed the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board Exam for Veterinarians in 2008, the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) in 2022, and obtained the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) certificate, accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), in 2025.

Dr. Joshua practiced as a small animal veterinarian in the Philippines for eight years before relocating to Hong Kong in 2016. There, he joined CityU Veterinary Medical Centre as a veterinary technician, rotating through the ICU, General Wards, Surgery Team and as a Ward Technician.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Joshua enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter, as well as engaging in reading, movies, and music.
