Dr. Jesslyn Cheong graduated from Murdoch University in 2017. After graduation, she travelled to South Australia to work as a small animal general practitioner.

Dr. Jesslyn always had an underlying passion for veterinary anaesthesia, and in 2020 she returned to Murdoch University to undertake a specialty training program in this discipline.

During this time, Dr. Jesslyn had the opportunity to work alongside renowned specialists, and acquire in-depth knowledge and skills in veterinary anaesthesia. Concurrently, she also completed a Graduate Diploma in Education, which equipped her with added expertise in clinical teaching and didactics.

Upon completion of the specialty training program, Dr. Jesslyn stayed at Murdoch University’s veterinary teaching hospital as an anaesthetist, where she advanced her skills in the field by managing clinically complex anaesthetic cases. In 2021, she obtained a membership in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia by examination with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.

Dr. Jesslyn has decided to move to Hong Kong last year to spend time with her family, and has recently joined VMC to continue her work in anaesthesia.
