Dr. Eugenie W. M. WU
BSc(cum laude), BVMS, MRCVS
Eugenie was born and raised in Hong Kong. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with honors at the Ohio State University, where she focused her studies on evolution, ecology, organismal biology, and took a special interest in ethology. During her 3 years in the United States, Eugenie volunteered at the university’s vet hospital, wildlife center as well as various animal shelters. That’s when she knew it was her calling to become a veterinarian.
To pursue her dream, she entered the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom to study veterinary medicine where she developed particular interest in surgery, diagnostic imaging and animal behaviour.
Eugenie returned home to Hong Kong after obtaining her veterinarian degree in 2012, and joined the CityU VMC straight away to continue her path in helping animals in need. She is now a general practitioner focused in the care of each and every one of her animal friends.
