The Position

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing team. The position offers emergency clinicians an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, side-by-side with a large group of specialists in Oncology, Dermatology, Surgery, Cardiology, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Diagnostic Imaging as well as a team of dedicated Primary Care and Emergency clinicians, nurses and friendly support staff.

The Position

We are currently looking for 3 to 4 skilled Veterinarians to join our dedicated hospital service team. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on cases with specialists in Oncology, Dermatology, Surgery, Cardiology, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Diagnostic Imaging as well as a team of dedicated Primary Care and Emergency clinicians, nurses and friendly support staff. This individual will:

  • Attend rounds and take a detailed summary of the patient’s presenting issues, examination findings, diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring plan
  • Be responsible for providing a clinical assessment to all patients in the wards (dog, cat, isolation) or any interventions should they arise
  • The assessment of hospitalized patients is built on the problem-based clinical assessment.
  • Provide exceptional patient care
  • Work collaboratively with the existing Primary Care, Emergency and Specialty services
  • Provide clients and referring veterinarians with a detailed and timely feedback.
  • Provide clinical training and mentorship to clinical support staff
  • Participate in Veterinary educational training activities conducted at the CVMC

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVSc) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

The Position

We have exciting opportunities for qualified nurses to join our expanding anaesthesia team at CityU VMC. Do you want to develop and learn new skills in a dynamic and fast moving mixed primary care, referral and ER practice where you will work with similarly minded colleagues under the direction of our Diplomate Anaesthesiologists and Clinician in Anaesthesia?

Working as part of a multi-skilled team of veterinary clinicians and nurses you will provide peri-anaesthesia care to animals undergoing sedation or general anaesthesia for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including advanced imaging or surgical procedures. You will also be required to provide nursing support and perform administrative duties associated with each case.  We are growing and provide anaesthetic services to a large number of cases so we need adaptable individuals who can thrive in a team environment, are able to work under pressure, but who can use their initiative to help us achieve the task. We will provide full training in all aspects of anaesthesiology with full support from nursing and veterinary colleagues.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about their job and who advocate for their patients.  You will need to be able to communicate well across all levels of the practice from clients to colleagues to students as we have trainee veterinary nurses in the practice as well as external veterinary nursing students and we will soon start teaching veterinary students on placement in due course.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications: ADVN, AIRC IV, RVN or RVT
  • Ideally 1-2 years in practice with some anaesthesia monitoring experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

The Position
We are looking for Night Shift Customer Services Officer, who will support the existing team in providing exceptional customer services.

  • Handle CS duties at the medical centre reception, including but not limited to greeting patients, appointment booking, and patients’ registration
  • Perform cashier duties, handle cash payment and credit card transaction
  • Answer clients’ inquiry in a professional manner
  • Proactively provide feedback to supervisor on improving customers service level
  • Cooperate with other teams and team members to ensure timely resolution of customer requests and problems
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the team
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Job Requirements

  • F.6 or DSE graduate
  • 2 years’ experience in customer service industry
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude, able to work under pressure
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Good command of spoken English and Chinese
