兽医

Hobi 教授于2007年毕业于瑞士苏黎世大学兽医学系。接下来的两年他一边担任兽医助理，一边完成了一份关于猫超敏反应的论文。之后他在瑞士一间大型小动物医院完成为期十五个月的实习，并且继续追逐他对皮肤科的热忱，于德国慕尼黑大学开始了三年的兽医皮肤科住院培训。在这段期间，他认识了我们的同事Peter Holler医生及Julia Simak-Boehm医生，也见识到了各种罕见的寄生虫和微生物。

除此之外，Hobi 教授亦参与教导兽医学生、实习生及博士生。他在世界各地面向私人执业兽医的讲座上演讲，其中包括于加拿大温哥华举行的世界兽医皮肤科会议。

他在动物及人类皮肤科期刊中，撰写及出版过多篇文章及报告，同时担任国际兽医皮肤科期刊的评审。

Hobi 教授认为，除了处理动物的各种皮肤及耳朵疾病外，令主人能够理解这些病症也同样重要。

跟人类的皮肤病一样，治疗动物皮肤病的方法不止类固醇和抗生素，还有很多不同的方法和疗程，Hobi 教授希望将这些新的方法带到香港。

作为典型的瑞士人，Hobi 教授喜欢芝士和朱古力，也会为了保持健康体型而勤做运动。他也喜欢到戏院欣赏电影、陪伴亲朋好友和旅游。
