Dr. TAYLOR is a board-certified specialist in Veterinary Oncology for small animals, having been certified by the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Companion Animals)
Dr. TAYLOR completed her Bachelor’s veterinary degree at the University of Bristol, which was followed initially by a career in general practice in the UK. Dr Taylor developed an interest in oncology and internal medicine, and led her to undertake an internship followed by a specialist residency training program at the University of Cambridge. She successfully passed her examinations with the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Companion Animals) (ECVIM-CA), and became a registered veterinary oncology specialist in 2012.
Following qualification as a specialist, Dr. TAYLOR has worked in the UK caring for oncology patients at private and university specialist veterinary hospitals. She is passionate about providing a high level of care to animals, and working closely with colleagues in other departments to provide individualised care for her patients. Dr. TAYLOR ‘s main interests include medical management of chemotherapy patients, as well as combining treatments such as surgery, interventional radiology techniques, and drug therapies to achieve effective tumour management, while all the time maximising patient wellbeing.
While Dr. TAYLOR enjoys caring for veterinary patients first and foremost, she also enjoys working as part of a cohesive professional team within a multidisciplinary hospital, as well as passing on her experience through undergraduate teaching
In her free time, Dr. Taylor enjoys sailing, swimming, rock climbing, hiking and yoga, as well as going to live music gigs and wildlife watching.
