Dr. Andrea became a European Specialist in small animal internal medicine in 2017. Since gaining her diploma, she has worked both in the UK and Australia in multidisciplinary referral hospitals and has most recently undertaken the role of Head of Internal Medicine for the last 4 years at Paragon Veterinary Referrals, UK.

Dr. Andrea undertook her undergraduate degree and residency at the University of Bristol where she gained her interest in infectious diseases. She has been involved in publishing a range of case reports and papers in infectious diseases including leishmaniasis and mycobacteriosis. Dr. Andrea is passionate about judicious antimicrobial use; in 2023 she led a campaign at Paragon Veterinary Referrals and gained an RCVS Knowledge Award in Antimicrobial Stewardship.

During her 4 years at Paragon Veterinary Referrals, Dr. Andrea established the internal medicine residency program which shows her commitment to advancing veterinary care. She enjoys being part of a supportive, collaborative and highly functioning team who share the same goal to provide exemplary service to pets, owners and referring vets. She strongly believes in a workplace of positive culture, empowerment and accountability. She provides individualised care to each of her patients and the family they are part of. She is experienced in all areas of internal medicine including interventional procedures.  She is also a keen and committed educator and has most recently lectured in Asia, presenting on nephrology and urology. Dr. Andrea obtains all-rounded level of expertise in all areas of medicine including neurology, urology and oncology.

Dr. Andrea is a true nature lover and is in her element when she is climbing a mountain or swimming in open-water. Swimming in Slovenia and the magnificent Gulf of Oman are her most recent open water adventures. She is excited to explore Hong Kong’s coastline and country parks. She is hoping to join a swimming team and make a start learning Cantonese.
